if you haven’t noticed me spamming the snot out of everyone lately, i’ve got a show that opens this friday, april 1st at chimera arts in santa cruz.  half of the work in the show will be large scale photographs and the other half will be  found-object assemblage.   the photos are printed, done, ready, and waiting.  the other work, however is still in process.  i have five pieces totally done (not counting figuring out how to hang them).  i’ve got two more pieces that should be done today, and another two that are not even close.  the good news is, that i opted out of a trip to the desert (ouch! tough choice!)   so that i could stay home, focus on this work, and be really prepared for friday.
..
i offer you the photo above as another example of the pieces i am crafting.  if you ventured into my recently revamped website you might have encountered this piece buried in there on one of the info pages.  the only folks that have seen these pieces or any of the photos from the show- are the friends and family who are in the house with me and have VIP access to my studio  (what that really means is= mostly my kids who i march upstairs and say “look! what do you think?”   poor things.)
..
anyhow- here’s the link to the show.

now, back to the glue-fest…. er, i mean: studio!
